The apartment is spacious and very comfortable. We had a small issue with the air conditioner, but Natalia responded very quickly and resolved the problem right away. Communication was great throughout our stay.<br/>We also loved the location, it’s very walkable and convenient, with plenty of things nearby. Overall, a great place to stay and we would definitely come back.

Beautiful property in a lovely neighborhood. We walked the streets to nice restaurants and hailed cabs to get to the city centre which was 10min away. The 4th floor walk up is just gorgeous - perfect for a family get together. Really enjoyed our stay there.

The most important thing to know before booking this place: be very careful with the host’s penalties and how conflicts are handled.<br/>During our stay, a few cigarettes were smoked on the balcony. For 5–6 cigarette butts on the balcony, the host demanded a penalty of almost $250 through Airbnb. In addition to that, the host claimed other rule violations that never happened in order to increase the amount through Airbnb support. Trying to resolve the situation was impossible, Chris responded in a very unfriendly way and did not explain how the damage amount was calculated.<br/>Aside from that, the apartment itself unfortunately had several issues:<br/>- Dishes were not properly cleaned<br/>- Dirty bed linen saliva stains on pillow) <br/>- The shower water was not consistently warm <br/>- The two bedrooms without air conditioning are extremely hot<br/>- street noise during the night <br/>- wasching machine does not work<br/>- Wifi not as described <br/>For us it was a one-time experience and definitely never again.

I absolutely loved my stay at this beautiful, modern Airbnb in Laureles! The apartment was spotless, stylish, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. It’s located in a peaceful neighborhood, yet just steps away from great restaurants, and things to do. The mix of tranquility and convenience was perfect. I’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Medellín!

We absolutely loved the place. It’s in a great location. 4-10 minute walks to great restaurants. Very quiet. The kitchen had everything you can possibly think of and need. Very clean. Be mindful if you are not in great shape or do not like going up stairs, you have to go to the fourth floor, there is no elevator. Other than that we will definitely book again. We come 2-4 times a year. Best place we have stayed at

My family and I had an incredible time at Chris’ house. My family and I felt right at home and we loved the place and the location. We walked to the grocery store, the restaurants and we even walked to the local market that was about 13 mins walk. I would totally stay again at Chris’ house if I go back to Medellin.

The apartment is in a great location. It’s very modern, with a great layout. Having the upstairs was great to be able to work while the other guests could hang out downstairs is the large living and dining areas. Also having air conditioning was a great addition. I highly recommend staying at this apartment when in Medellín. Also, the host were very responsive and helpful. Truly a great stay.

The host was incredibly thoughtful, sending me airport transport options and a list of local recommendations before I even touched down.<br/>The apartment itself is fantastic. Occupying the entire top floor, it feels spacious and inviting with three queen-sized beds, a bright office loft upstairs, and two large bathrooms. Everything is spotless, beautifully kept, and the air conditioning is available, though the cool nights in Medellín make it rarely necessary. <br/>Laureles is also a great neighborhood, safe, full of character, lined with charming cafés, and buzzing with friendly locals. Staying here made it easy to feel connected to the city while still having a peaceful retreat at the end of the day.

The place is really nice, very modern, and comfortable for the number of people we had.<br/>However, when it rained, our main room got flooded, and a couple of things got wet, because it did flood quite a bit.<br/>The rooms are air-conditioned and extremely hot.<br/>And when we arrived, the towels were wet.<br/>Everything else was pretty good.

Overall, a great stay. Good amenities and location; lots of nearby restaurants and cafés. Internet was fast and flawless. Kitchen was well stocked, but the microwave can be hard to reach for shorter people.<br/>Though not a main thoroughfare, the street has consistent traffic so there's usually some noise; vehicles often honk when approaching the intersection. Some dogs in nearby buildings bark pretty late into the night, too. We often kept the windows open at night for the great breeze that ran through the building so we noticed it a bit more than we might otherwise. Standard fare if you're used to city living.<br/>Chris & the team were very responsive to any issues we had. "Colombian time" is a bit loose with punctuality so it can be difficult to plan around when outside services are required. That being said, when we ran out of gas for the hot water, the replacement was there and installed within 15 minutes which felt extremely quick.<br/>Highly recommend for a larger group or long term stays.

We really enjoyed staying here with our family of 5. It had two spaces to study, a large dining table, beautiful living room, two floors so people could spread out, and Chris was very responsive to our requests for a couple essentials in the kitchen. Overall, we loved staying here and would highly recommend it!

I loved this place. The apartment is beautiful and it is on a quiet side street in a neighborhood full of coffee shops, restaurants and parks. Medellin can be a noisy city in my experience, so finding a quite corner like this is not easy. Chris was friendly and responsive, and gave me a bunch of great tips for things to do in area. I look forward to returning for a longer trip and hope this place will be available when I do!

The apartment is very well located. It has supermarkets, hairdressers, ice cream parlors and all kinds of restaurants nearby. The apartment has everything you need, pots, plates, utensils, washing machine. It is very nicely decorated and not noisy. If you have mobility problems, you should take into account that it is on the fourth floor... however, for the six of us who stayed in the place, it gave us the opportunity to exercise every day.
